badger
The highlight of the awards was the touching speech from badger about the plight of the British Badger, a matter very close to his heart. He is the proud president of the British Badger Association and actively campaigns for equal rights for all badgers. Many prominent figures from the badger world were present to witness his tearful plea to end the slave trade of badgers. His epic 25 minute speech, or more appropriately, lament, brought the audience to tears. He insisted on a one-minute silence to remember the many badgers that have perished from exhaustion and ill-treatment from their cruel masters. He then urged the many badger selling companies, particularly Badgers Direct, to cease their parasitic ways and once and for all put an end to the persecution of badgers everywhere. This was met with a heartfelt standing ovation from the crowd with one noteable exception: the Chairman of Badgers Direct. He was seen leaving soon after looking very, very, very angry indeed. Ho-hum.
As an act of good will, WeAreAllBadgers will not be renewing our contract with Badgers Direct as sponsor of this site. We hope many will follow our lead.
